After 26 days I finished a wonderful novel named "A man called ove" by Fredrik Backman . I haven't seen a person like ove in my life. But this character really touched my soul. He is a strict person but filled his heart with a lot of emotions. He was always deceived by his fate. During his childhood, he lost his mother and then his father. He lived alone in his house which was built by him. Local government cheated him when his house caught fire.
His only hope, only happiness, only peace was his wife Sonja. After Sonja's entry, he saw some blossoms in his life. She was everything to him. Again fate played his role : they had no child. Then finally Sonja left his life. She died. A man called ove decided to commit suicide. Again fate played his role : each time somebody came to forbid when he tried to commit suicide. Every man needs a woman to make his life meaningful. There are many roles women had : mother, sister, friend,wife etc. If we lose them, our life becomes meaningless. Another woman came to ove's life and that was Parvenah. She turned his life around. And how was that? Read "A man called ove".
This is a story with full of comedy from tragic Ove. Fredrik Backman had sketched all the characters wonderfully. Like Ove, Sonja, Rune, Anitha, Jimmy, Patrick etc, this story had another beautiful character : a cat which lived with Ove. It played a pumped role.
First of all when I started to read this , I didn't know how to pronounce the word "Ove". I googled it. I was shocked to see one video to pronounce the word Ove and I understood the worth of this book. I have attached that video link at the end of this for you to pronounce "Ove" and "Parvaneh". In addition, it was adapted as a film of the same name. Buy it and enjoy your reading!!

இந்த புத்தகத்தை என் பிறந்தநாள் பரிசாக அளித்த அன்புத் தங்கை ஹபிலாவிற்கு அன்பும் பிரியங்களையும் தவிர என்ன தந்துவிட முடியும் என்னால்! இப்போதைக்கு இந்த விமர்சனம்!!!
ஒரு ஆங்கில புத்தகத்திற்கு நான் எழுதும் முதல் தமிழ் விமர்சனம்.
இந்த புத்தகத்தை படித்து முடிக்க எனக்கு 26 நாட்கள் ஆகியிருக்கிறது என்றால் உங்களால் நம்ப முடிகிறதா? அதுதான் உண்மை. அப்படிப்பட்ட உணர்வு பூர்வமான கதை உவா என்ற இந்த மனிதருடையது. இது போன்றதொரு மனிதரை என் வாழ்க்கையில் நான் சந்தித்ததில்லை. இன்னல்களை மட்டுமே தன் குழந்தை பருவம் முதல் சந்தித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் ஒரு மனிதனை உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் சந்திக்க விரும்பினால் உவாவை படியுங்கள்.
உவா ஒரு நேர்மையான தன்னுடைய வேலைகளை தானே செய்துகொள்கிற மனிதர். அவர் தன்னைப் போலவே பிறரும் ஒழுங்கு முறைகளை தொடர்ந்து கடைபிடித்து வாழ வேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகிறார். அவர் நினைத்தது போலவே நடந்து போய் இருந்தால் பக்கத்துக்குப் பக்கம் நம்மை சிரிக்க வைக்கிற இந்த புத்தகம் நமக்கு கிடைத்திருக்காது. நம்முடைய பாணியில் சொல்லப்போனால் அவர் ஒரு அந்நியன் அம்பி.
உவா தன்னுடைய சிறு வயதிலேயே தாயை இழக்கிறார். பிறகு தந்தையுடைய வளர்ப்பில் வளர்கிறார். ஒரு சில ஆண்டுகளில் தன்னுடைய தந்தையையும் இழக்கிறார். தந்தை சொல் மிக்க மந்திரம் இல்லை என்று அவர் சொல்லிக் கொடுத்த நெறிமுறைகளை கொண்டு தன்னுடைய வாழ்க்கையை தொடர்கிறார். உவாவிற்கு வேலை செய்வது மிகவும் பிடிக்கும். அவருக்கு கார் ஓட்டுவதும் அதை பராமரிப்பதும் மிகவும் பிடிக்கும். உவா தனக்காக ஒரு வீட்டை கட்டுகிறார். அதுவும் எரிந்து சாம்பல் ஆகிறது. விதி எப்போதும் மனிதர்களை விட்டுவைப்பதில்லை.
இப்படியான வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் உவாவின் பொக்கிஷமாக வந்து சேர்கிறார் சோஞ்ஜா. இருவரும் அமைதியான ஒரு வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்கிறார்கள். கரடுமுரடான மனிதர்களை கடிவாளம் போட்டு இழுக்க ஒரு பெண்ணால் மட்டுமே முடியும். உவாவிற்கு சோஞ்ஜா. அவளும் இறந்து போகிறால். ஆணின் வாழ்க்கையில் மனைவி மறைந்த பிறகு ஏது வசந்தம்?
உவா தற்கொலை செய்து கொள்ள முடிவெடுக்கிறார். இந்த மனிதர்கள் நிம்மதியாக சாகவும் விடமாட்டார்கள் என்பதற்கு உவாவே சான்று. ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் அவர் தற்கொலை செய்து கொள்ள முயற்சிக்கும் போதும் யாரோ ஒருவர் வந்து தடங்கல் செய்துவிடுவார். புத்தகத்தில் வரும் இந்த இடங்கள் எல்லாம் பெட்ரிக் பேக்மேன் தன்னுடைய எழுத்து நடையால் அதகளப்படுத்தி இருப்பார்.
இந்த கதையில் வரும் கதாபாத்திரங்கள் ஆன பர்வானே, பேட்ரிக், ருணே, அனிதா, ஜிம்மி, அட்ரியன் என்று அத்தனை கதாபாத்திரங்களையும் அழகாக சித்தரிக்கிறார் பெட்ரிக் பேக்மேன். இதில் ஒரு பூனை இருக்கிறது அது உவாவை போட்டு பாடாய்படுத்தும் இடமெல்லாம் ரணகளம்.
இறுதி அத்தியாயத்தை படிக்கும்போது பர்வானேவிற்கு ஒரு கடிதம் எழுதி இருப்பார் உவா. உங்களால் நிச்சயமாக தேம்பி அழாமல் அதை கடக்க முடியாது. இந்த ஸ்வீடன் நாவல் 2015 இறுதியில் திரைப்படமாகவும் எடுக்கப்பட்டு வெளிவந்துவிட்டது.
